I have been collecting ceramics created by local artists for years and always wanted to try my hand at it. I began taking classes through my local studio in the fall of 2021 and fell hard for the craft. I have since become a member of the studio and even sit on the board. I am so happy to be involved in this artistic community with many like-minded folks.
SOY WAX CANDLES
All of my candles are made with soy wax, which is derived from soybeans. I chose this type of wax because it is a natural, renewable resource that is also biodegradable! It has a low melting point, which not only results in a longer burn time but is also safer. When your soy wax candle is finished, the vessel is easily cleaned with warm water and soap and ready to be reused in your home or returned for a refill!
